Gîtes de France is a member and co-founder of the european association Eurogîtes. Eurogîtes allows holiday-makers to find out about guest-house offers, mostly in the country side or on a farm, in 24 countries.

Each country has developed their accommodation in keeping with their traditions and environments and the standard of the properties can vary from country to country. This is a totally unique way to find out about new types of holidays and destinations.

Gîtes de France - A Name to Trust

For over 15 years, Gîtes de France has been called upon by countries in Europe and further a field seeking help in developing and structuring their rural tourism on a local and national scale. Gîtes de France has given a helping hand to countries in a wide variety of situations including those looking to join Eurogîtes and those who need help with training, evaluations or hosting receptions. Among the countries that have benefited from Gîtes de France’s vast experience are Japan, Poland, the Crimea, Rodriguez Island and Romania.

For the last three years, due to the increase in demands for help that Gîtes de France has received from abroad, an agreement between the French government agency for tourism and the National Federation of Gîtes de France has allowed us to concentrate our efforts on the following countries: Chile, Japan, Russia and Central America.
